It’s been since 2018 that Atlanta rapper, 21 Savage, released his last solo LP, I Am > I Was. For 21 Savage fans…the wait is over. Today, he announced the imminent release of his latest album, "American Dream," scheduled to drop this Friday, January 12. 21 Savage is looking to mirror the success of his last solo project which hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart and also was RIAA-certified Platinum in 2020.

The year is just beginning and 21 Savage is coming out with a bang. On Monday, 21 Savage revealed plans for a biographical movie titled American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, featuring Donald Glover and Caleb McLaughlin. This is pretty dope as a young artist to tell his story to the world.

21 Savage’s last two projects were joint projects, including SAVAGE MODE II with Metro Boomin, and Her Loss with Drake which is currently in the running for Best Rap album at the 2024 Grammys. With a movie and a new solo album on the way, you can expect a heavy dose of success for 21 Savage this year and some hot new music on the way.
