Culture Minute | The NFL Dropped The Ball With Lack Of Support To Colin Kaepernick

The NFL released a statement in response to the death of George Floyd and the ongoing protests stating that they embrace the responsibility in tackling systemic racial issues and will work together with its players and teams to address the issues. This comes after blackballing Colin Kaepernick for peacefully protesting police brutality. Drew Brees released a statement that he does not support players who choose to protest during the anthem, despite what's going on in the country. Other athletes chimed in to share their discomfort with what he said.
