‘Usher: Rendezvous in Paris’ is officially set to arrive in movie theaters on September 12th for a limited run through September 15th. The 45 year old entertainer has been on a roll as of late. A successful residency in Vegas featuring 100 shows, an EMMY nominated Super Bowl halftime show performance on the world’s biggest stage and now the R&B superstar is heading to the silver screen.

Directed by Anthony Medler, ‘Rendezvous in Paris’ is expected to play in approximately 2,000 locations worldwide. The footage was captured during Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale and features never before seen costumes and state of the art lighting and effects.

Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans. I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was. As for those of you who were, I hope you experience the show and see what it takes to get there through a different lens.
— Usher

The movie will include performances of the GRAMMY winner’s biggest hits like “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” and “Love In This Club,” as well as provide a glimpse inside life beyond the stage.

For 30 years, Usher has captivated and entertained audiences through his music and concerts. Just a few months ago, he drew rave reviews for his stunning performance in front of 129 million people during the Super Bowl Half Time Show. Bringing his unparalleled concert experience to movie theatres for his fans around the world is a perfect fit for AMC Theatres Distribution.

Last month, Usher was honored with A BET Lifetime Achievement Award and his Usher: Past Present Future Tour will kick off in August.
