GloRilla isn’t just making moves—she’s shaking the game up, and her debut album Glorious is about to prove it! In a pre-show chat with Extra before shutting down the VMA stage, she confirmed what we’ve all been waiting for: her album is dropping in October. And just like that, the GloRida fanbase went wild. Not long after, she kept the heat coming by dropping her latest single, “Hollon,” and locking in the release date—October 11. The way she moves? Impeccable. After ruling the summer with bangers like “Yea Glo” and “Wanna Be” off her Ehhthang Ehhthang EP (which might as well have been an album), she's bringing that same momentum into fall with her debut project, Glorious.

Today (October 7), GloRilla sent the internet into a frenzy by dropping her official feature list and track list, giving us the full lineup of what's coming. And listen, if I wasn’t already hyped, I’m now perched on the edge of my seat with my AirPods on standby, counting down to Thursday at 9 PM PST. The guest lineup is stacked: Latto, Sexyy Red, Muni Long, Kirk Franklin, Kierra Sheard, Chandler Moore, Maverick City Music, Megan Thee Stallion, Bossman Dlow, T-Pain, and Fridayy. Whew!

Now, it’s not exactly groundbreaking for rap artists to dip into the gospel pool, but GloRilla is clearly about to show us why her middle name is literally Hallelujah. She’s pulling in some of gospel’s finest, and I can only imagine the levels she’s about to take us to with these collabs. The way she’s been in her bag? Yeah, this one is about to hit differently.

Since bursting into the mainstream spotlight in 2022, GloRilla’s evolution has been nothing short of inspiring. She’s been a student of the game, sharpening her craft while leveling up her sound, look, and undeniable confidence. Whether touring with Megan Thee Stallion or dominating the stage at the VMAs and BET Awards for the second time, the growth is unmistakable. She’s experimenting, soaking up knowledge from the best, and most importantly, trusting her instincts—and it’s working. GloRilla is a force, and Glorious is about to be the moment.

Make sure you presave Glorious on all streaming platforms and be ready to listen when it drops on 10/11—because this is one debut you don’t want to miss!

Victoria Monét is showing us what it truly means to take the old-school route in a music world that moves at breakneck speed. With Jaguar II, released on August 25, 2023, she’s proving that a well-thought-out rollout is still the way to go. From the visuals to the continued promotion of the album months after its release, Monét is giving us that classic era approach we’ve been missing. It’s not just about dropping a few singles and moving on; she’s treating this project as the masterpiece that it is, and I’m here for it.

This album was crafted with intention—from the order of the tracklist to the songwriting and production, to the perfectly chosen features. It’s clear this wasn’t just thrown together; Jaguar II feels like an artist flourishing and finding her voice. When Monét announced she’s dropping a deluxe version, I couldn't help but get excited. This is what today’s music scene has been missing: artists who create full, cohesive projects and push them to their limits, making you fall in love with every track—even the ones you didn’t think would grab you at first.

Monét’s development as an artist has been on full display, especially after her incredible performance at the 2023 BET Awards. She gave us a taste of what she’s been working on, and it’s no surprise she’s continued to gain momentum since then. She’s no stranger to accolades either—let’s not forget her Grammy wins, which solidified her as a force in both songwriting and performance. As we look forward to Jaguar II (Deluxe), it's clear Monét is only getting better, and this deluxe release feels like the perfect way to celebrate her massive success while keeping the momentum going.

On September 26, Monét gave fans even more to look forward to, sharing the tracklist for the deluxe version of Jaguar II dropping on October 4. This edition will come with 10 additional tracks, including some heavy-hitting collaborations. Songs like "Don’t Sleep" featuring Thundercat and "SOS (Sex On Sight)" with Usher are already grabbing attention. But that’s not all—we’re also getting a duet with Bryson Tiller on "We Might Even Be Falling in Love." From these features alone, it’s clear Monét is pulling out all the stops.

Here’s the full list of new tracks on Jaguar II (Deluxe) :

1. Dick At Night

2. Don't Sleep ft. Thundercat

3. SOS (Sex On Sight) ft. Usher

4. 2Sext (Interlude)

5. 1900's

6. Love Is Stronger Than Pride

7. Everybody Needs Someone

8. We Might Even Be Falling in Love (Duet with Bryson Tiller)

9. The Greatest

10. The Greatest (Lovenotes Outro)

With this deluxe album, Victoria Monét is continuing her reign and giving us more of what we need—quality music and an artist who cares about the art of the album. She’s reminding us that music is meant to be experienced fully, not just consumed quickly and discarded. I can’t wait to hear what she’s added to the project and witness her next move.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is back with another album, two years after the release of her Grammy-nominated LP, Good Morning Gorgeous. MJB announced that her new album, Gratitude, will be released this fall on November 15th.

She is also headed back on the road starting in January 2025 for her “For My Fans” tour. Dedicated to her adoring fans, the singer will star alongside R&B icons Ne-Yo and Mario. Blige made the announcement while on the nationally syndicated talk show Sherri.

During her appearance Mary J. also expressed what Gratitude meant to her and how she loves her ever-supporting fanbase and loved ones.

I mean, look at my life right now. I’m in a constant state of gratitude. I feel good. I have jobs and opportunities. I’m healthy. My family’s healthy. I have people around that care for me and love me and I have amazing fans for all the years of love and support that they’ve given me.
— Mary J. Blige, Sherri

Earlier this year in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Blige reflected on the impact her music has had on women of all ages and backgrounds.

I can say that, in my life right now, I opened so many doors. I’ve given women a voice to speak their truth. It seems like everyone from pop to R&B to every female is telling their life story or something that’s happened because I let them know in 1994 that it’s OK. I use it as my therapy, and so a lot of people are using their music as their therapy as well.
— Mary J. Blige, Entertainment Tonight

The full list of tour dates have yet to be revealed but fans will be able to purchase tickets soon. According to Ticketmaster, the tour will stop in most major cities including New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, St. Louis, Toronto, and Washington D.C.. Artist Presale ticket sign-up closes on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 11:00 p.m. ET. Pre-sale tickets go live on Oct. 1.

Watch Blige discuss her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, the final season of Power Book II: Ghost, the 30th anniversary of “My Life,” Gratitude, the upcoming tour, and more with Sherri Shepherd below.

Dexter first teased the new releases via his Instagram.

"Quit Playing Games" showcases the rising artist’s range and versatility, teasing a little taste of what to expect from his future projects.

This song is a declaration of confidence and self-respect intertwined with personal relations. Writing it was my way of reminding myself that I deserve better. Yes, I might be intense at times, but the love I offer is rare and not something to be taken lightly," expresses Dexter.

The Memphis native has consistently shown with her infectious string of top-charting singles (“Yeah Glo!,” “TGIF,” “F.N.F,” and “Wanna Be” featuring Meagan Thee Stallion) that she is definitely one of the hottest rappers in the game right now. Finally, Big Glo has announced that her highly anticipated debut LP Glorious will drop this fall, taking to social media to deliver the news along with the promise of a new single.

Earlier this summer, The 25-year old shared her thoughts in an interview on her approach to music and the true meaning of success. Shedding light on her state of mind during the creation of her forthcoming album.

Gotti told me don’t get comfortable. Keep your foot on the gas. The moment you let up, everything will just go downhill… it’s about consistency and who can have longevity. That’s success.
— GloRilla, Vibe

The debut follows her prior mixtapes “Most Likely Up Next” in 2019 and 2022’s “P Status” and “Anyways, Life’s Great.” The latter project included breakout hits “Blessed,” “Tomorrow 2 featuring her cousin Cardi B,” and the previously mentioned “F.N.F.”

The CMG princess will be looking to add more trophies to her resume this year as she is currently up for seven BET Hip Hop awards. Glo is nominated in the categories of: Hip-Hop Artist of The Year, Song of The Year, Hip-Hop Album of The Year, Best Collaboration, Best Live Performer, Hustler of The Year, and Impact Track.

Fans can revisit GloRilla’s recent VMAs performance below, as the anticipation for her new album builds.
