CHEROKEE THE CHIEF is a vibe, born and raised right here in Southern California, hailing from North Hollywood, California in the San Fernando Valley. As an EMCEE and songwriter, she is making her mark on the music world effortlessly, particularly with a focus on Pop, Jazz, and Hip Hop.

Her debut album Jazzmatikk will be released in December 2023 and she’s proud of the entire process.

She’s already had dynamic singles released like "Pink Mustang" (2023), "Moon Shadows" (2023), and "Don’t Wanna Wait" (2022). The music video for "Moon Shadows" (a single from Jazzmatikk) takes us through a fun drive around Los Angeles and shows the viewer CHEROKEE THE CHIEF’s style with an outfit fit for a champion. Visuals are a key part of her artistry.

CHEROKEE THE CHIEF wants to continue to be known for her authenticity. Sharing her music and having fun while doing it, she encourages others to go after their fullest life. She believes her journey has been so organic because of the ease at which she approaches her art and her openness to letting the right collaborators come her way. Some notable collaborators have included jazz great Sonji Kimmons, Darnells “Trumpet Dude” Philips, and Scott Clowes.
