With notable releases like "Hip Hop Super Hero" in collaboration with DJ Mick Boogie, and "Mutant Level 5" featuring acclaimed artists like Little Brother and Freeway, Speed has garnered a dedicated fan base, affectionately known as "Space Invadaz".
Throughout his career, Speed Walton has demonstrated versatility and innovation, evident in his formation of the band Gold Shoes in 2011. Comprising musicians from diverse backgrounds, Gold Shoes seamlessly blends genres like jazz, classical, and funk, showcasing Speed's musical range and vision.
His relentless pursuit of excellence has earned him accolades, including multiple Cincinnati Entertainment Awards for projects like "Scattered thoughts of an American poet". Additionally, Speed has embarked on significant tours, notably joining Talib Kweli's Prisoner of Conscious tour in 2014 and later signing with Talib's Javotti Media alongside fellow artist Donte of MOOD as the Space Invadaz.
