Last night, Chicago’s United Center came alive as Nick Cannon’s Wild ’N Out Live Tour 2024: The Final Lap hit the stage, delivering an electrifying evening packed with comedy, music, and unexpected surprises. The energy in the arena was unmatched, and fans knew they were in for a night to remember.

The Wild ’N Out crew, featuring standout stars like Rip Micheals, Justina Valentine, Conceited, and DC Young Fly, kept the crowd in stitches all night long. From hilarious sketch battles to the wild freestyle segments, the cast delivered nonstop laughter. Chicago stood out as a crucial stop on the tour, with its unique energy blending perfectly with the show’s mix of comedy and culture.

One of the night’s standout moments was Nick Cannon’s birthday celebration. Fans and cast members came together to celebrate the Wild ’N Out mastermind with surprise shoutouts and a special tribute, adding to the night’s festive atmosphere.

But the magic wasn’t just on stage. Behind the scenes, the show’s success was fueled by an all-Black operation, making this tour even more meaningful. Eugene Parker, CEO of 5120 Entertainment and tour promoter, explained that almost every aspect of production—from staffing to management—was handled by Black professionals. “This is a completely Black-run operation, and we take pride in showcasing what Black excellence represents in every part of this tour,” Parker said, highlighting the tour’s commitment to creating space for Black talent in the entertainment industry.
With unexpected moments and a celebration of Black excellence both on stage and behind the scenes, the Chicago stop of Wild ’N Out Live Tour proved to be an unforgettable experience for fans. The tour continues to celebrate comedy, music, and culture, while pushing the boundaries of representation in entertainment.

Da 'Partments, a collaboration between Da 'Partments and Grand Hustle Films, provides a vivid portrayal of the gritty and authentic westside of Atlanta, inspired by the upbringing of rapper TI. The idea for the movie originated from TI and DC Young Fly, and after facing numerous rejections from other corporations, they decided to take matters into their own hands.

The film features heavyweight talents such as Lil Duval, who also serves as the executive producer, DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller, and voiceover narration by the writer and director, TI. Categorized as "Hood Humor," the film promises to showcase the raw realities of living in the hood and will be available for streaming on Tubi, ensuring accessibility for a broad audience.

Electrifying actor/comedian DC Young Fly will host the classic trivia game show, Hollywood Squares, but with a modern star-studded twist. Celebrity Squares, which will debut on VH1 this fall, will host a ton of A-list stars answering Black pop culture questions while competing for a chance to take home a cash prize. Participants will face off in a game of Tic-Tac-Toe as they collect cash and prizes along the way. The player with the most money at the end of the game will move on to a bonus round for a chance to win the 10,000 cash prize.

Celebrity Squares builds upon Hollywood Squares’ lengthy history. The original game show debuted as a pilot on NBC back in 1965 before it was picked up to series in 1966 on the network where it ran until 1980. Old episodes of the fan-favorite are currently available for free via Pluto TV’s Hollywood Squares channel.
