Jay-Z has been successful in producing numerous movies over the years, and he's now back with another Netflix film. His most recent Netflix movie, The Harder They Fall, premiered in 2021 and starred Jonathan Majors, RJ Cyler, Idris Elba, and Lakeith Stanfield.
The Harder They Fall tells the story of a black man named Nat Love who is seeking revenge on the man who murdered his parents. He was determined to get payback but also found true love. While only generating roughly 8,200 dollars at the box office, it still went on to be the number one Netflix movie during the first week of its release.

Mr. Sean Carter continues to sharpen his skills as a producer with his new film The Book of Clarence. The star-studded cast includes great actors like Teyana Taylor, Alfre Woodard, LaKeith Stanfield, and RJ Cyler. Set to take place during Biblical Times in Jerusalem, it is the story of a Jerusalem resident facing tough times who sets off on a misguided quest to exploit the growing celebrity of a Messiah, hoping to reap personal benefits. Along the way, this journey becomes a voyage of faith exploration, taking him down an unexpected path.
“I always wanted to explore the Bible stories but from the angle of the person that sells Jesus his sandals, the woman or man that owns the hair salon.” ”

The film also highlights some of the Bible’s most common figures like Mary Magdalene, John the Baptist, and Jesus himself. While some may say that the film is blasphemy, others may be able to appreciate the visual and shift in perspective.
In an interview with Vanity Fair Jay-Z shared his concerns about the audience’s reaction to the plot of the film.
“My fear is that people don’t allow that arc to take place, and are immediately judging ”
The Book of Clarence will hit Netflix in January 2024. Check out the trailer here and prepare for Hov’s latest creative project. Will you be watching?

During an interview for the Get Humbled interview series hosted by hair stylist Shanita Robinson, Dame Dash, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, shared valuable insights on the strategies necessary to maintain millionaire status. According to Dash, staying a millionaire is a greater challenge than initially achieving such wealth. The conversation took place on Sunday, July 16, where Dash generously provided valuable financial advice and tips.
Dame started off by saying “So now the question is how much bread do you want to make? And I don’t think it’s a bad thing to want to make a lot of money because there are people you might need to take care of.”
Robinson stated her goal was hit the million dollar mark and Dame interjected to let her know that a million isn’t enough to be a true millionaire. In today’s economy, Dame is right…a million definitely isn’t enough.
“We’re dreaming,” he said. “Let me tell you what a million dollars does. If you go in the store and buy a 25-cent bag of potato chips, you’re not a millionaire. You spend one dollar and you’re not a millionaire.
“You want to stay a millionaire, so you want a couple. Because the minute you start to get into millions, so do your bills. The carrying cost of things is what kills you.”
Dame Dash has a proven track record as an entrepreneur as former co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records alongside Hip-Hop icon, Jay-Z. Dash has since founded DD172, a media collective which encompasses America Nu magazine, VNGRD79, a web design firm, and BluRoc Records. Dash has consistently dropped financial advice in various podcast interviews and talk shows and is adamant about being able to control your future through ownership and entrepreneurship.
