Compton artist 1TakeOcho dropped the perfect summer time album, Undeniable 2! The 15 track album includes some dope features from 1TakeJay, Kenai, Phats, 1TakeTeezy, 1TakeQuan, Royce The Choice, and Griff Tyler. With so many dope tracks on the album, it’s hard to choose a favorite but “Ducked Off” featuring Phats is definitely a track that’s getting played on repeat.
His last project Ocho III came less than a year ago and 1TakeOcho is already back with some more heat.
“I feel like I locked in a little bit more on this project than I did on my previous projects. Every beat on here are beats that were produced specifically for me. I didn’t get any YouTube beats for this project. So overall, the sound is exclusively for me. I was in the studio more than I’ve ever been while working on this project too. Previously I’d just make songs as I go and then later down the line I’d put together a project with whatever I songs I had. During this process I was making songs specifically for Undeniable 2.”

1TakeOcho continues to prove why he is one of the hottest rising artists coming out of the West Coast right now. This album was extremely personal for 1TakeOcho as he dedicated this album to his father, as he recently passed away. In his song “For My Pops”, he pays homage to his father.
“This project is fully dedicated to my dad. I lost him last year on August 5th due to covid. On the album cover, I’m wearing his Rare Breed motorcycle club letterman jacket and behind me is his lowrider that he passed down to me. This whole project is dedicated to and inspired by him.”
This album features a range of versatility in songs from turn up music, to R&B you can kick back and vibe to.
“It’s hard to pick just 1 favorite song. But my top 3 are For My Pops (Big Ratt), First Impression, and Calm Collective. But I love all of them.”
Throughout the pandemic, has been a way to keep people motivated and inspired and 1TakeOcho approached this album with the goal to urge people to keep going, no matter what. In his song “Sound Good”, he reiterates “The only advice that I can give is be the best you.”
“Whatever you’re going through in life just keep pushing. You never know how close you are to accomplishing what you want to accomplish. Might sound cliche but just don’t quit.”

Compton artist 1TakeOcho dropped his new EP titled Ocho III. 1TakeOcho has been consistently dropping heat since his first project Ocho.
“The name of the project started when I dropped the first Ocho EP. I didn’t know what else to call it so I kept it simple and used my name. I wanted to drop this EP because it’s been almost 9 months since my last project dropped and in between that I dropped one single which was “Love” ft. my guys Griff Tyler and Xian Bell. It was time for me to drop some more content, build my catalog for people, and get heard some more. And also it’s the summer!”
1TakeOcho has set a high standard for himself and his fans by releasing top quality music with consistency. You can hear the growth from project to project as he pours his real life into the lyrics.
“This particular EP shows a lot of growth in my music as far as the quality of the music as well as the videos I’ll be putting out for it. The cover art is me with my college degree, my graduation cap, a football, and a mic which symbolizes my journey in life. I recently just finished school while working a job and pursuing my music career. I just want to motivate people and let them know that anything is possible and forget all the excuses. As long as you put the work in, stay dedicated, passionate, and consistent, everything will fall in place for you.”

This is a project that has no skips as each track has it’s own feel from upbeat tracks like “Homebody” to a more mellow track like “Right By You”. Our personal favorite: “Homebody”, a song you’ll have on repeat!
“A must listen to track in my opinion is all of them lol my favorite track on there changes all the time. One day I’m loving “Homebody” more than anything. The next day I’m loving “Right by you” more. Another day “Walk Through” becomes my favorite.”

“The quality of music and the visuals for it is what separates it from my previous stuff. Although my previous project “Undeniable” had good quality, the goal is to outwork yesterday. Or in other words outwork yourself and your previous work. I feel like that’s what I’m doing.”
1TakeOcho already has plans to continue to release new music and visuals and is establishing himself as one of the top rising artists on the West Coast. With a solid mix of R and B and rap, this project has a track for just about any mood.
“Hopefully y’all will be seeing my name and face more often. I feel like I’m going in the right direction by putting out good content and staying consistent with it.”

Compton artist 1TakeOcho dropped his debut mixtape titled Undeniable! 1TakeOcho hit the scene with 2 hot EPs, Ocho and Ocho II, and with the bar already set high he definitely did not disappoint with this project. Ocho is 1 part of a rising rap group called 1TakeBoyz, but he is making a name for himself with consistent hot releases and his place in the music industry is truly becoming Undeniable.
“The big homie DJ Hed really inspired the name of the tape. A while ago he told me “if you wanna win in this game always remember to be undeniable, bring value, and don’t take shit personal.” The Undeniable part stuck out to me a lot and I decided to name the mixtape that.”

When listening to the project, you definitely get the feel of good vibes as well as inspiration. On his track “Never Fold Interlude”, 1TakeOcho pays tribute to all of the people who doubted him thanking them for his success.

“There’s a few favorites I have on this tape. But the must listen would have to be “Best Life ft. Kyle Banks.” The other must listens are “The Streets ft. 1TakeJay” and “Weekend ft. Chris O’Bannon.”
From production to the lyrics, this mixtape really shows his growth from his previous 2 projects.
“This project is much more enhanced than the previous projects I dropped. This was my debut mixtape so I wanted this to be like a “wow” moment and show people my sound and my growth. I invested heavily in the production, mixing/mastering of the tracks, etc. If someone were to ask “who is 1TakeOcho” or “what type of music does 1TakeOcho make” , this project would answer all of that.
The pandemic caused a lot of disruption around the world especially the entertainment and music industries but 1TakeOcho found a way to put out a complete project through the midst of it.
“At the beginning of the pandemic it affected my music because my engineer shut down his studio for a while and that’s the only place I like to record at. Shout out to JAGonthebeat. He’s been my engineer since I first started back in 2018. He knows my vocals and his studio and working with him is like my comfort zone.”

West Coast rapper dropped his highly anticipated EP Ocho II! His first EP Ocho was a success for the upcoming rapper and this new project definitely did not dissapoint. This artist came out hot last year in 2019 with 5 hot tracks on Ocho and is continuing to make a name for himself.
It’s just a continuation of the first EP. My first EP was called Ocho. So this one is just part 2. I feel like my first project was raw because I was just getting into the music scene. This project is more elevated as far as how it sounds.
The very first track on the EP “Lowkey”, sets the whole tone for the project which is definitely a track that you can vibe too, featuring fellow artist DaiDMB and produced by Jonny Cash.
The song “Lowkey” is a banger in my book. It’s a good party banger. The beat is smooth and everything. The song “Put You On” ft. Xian Bell is a more r&b feel. I think people would fuck with that.
This project features 5 songs that definitely give off a dope West Coast sound. My personal favorite off the project is “Put You On” which has the most traditional R and B sound on the project. 1TakeOcho is original in his delivery as there isn’t an artist that sounds like him. He mixes raw explicit lyrics with R and B and west coast beats to produce a quality project all around.
People can expect some good sounding music and good vibes no cap! I’m pretty excited about this EP because it was a lot of quality involved as far as the cover art for and the songs on it. I hope y’all fuckin with it. I’m just tryna give y’all some good vibes.
