Fat Joe Lands New Talk Show "Fat Joe Talks" Featuring Provocative Celebrity Conversations

According to reports, the Grammy-nominated recording artist has landed a new talk show where he will have “provocative” conversations with celebrities. The new show entitled “Fat Joe Talks” will give viewers unique access into the lives of today’s most influential personalities. Each episode will be a half and hour and will follow Joe to different locations across the country. Lebron James’ company SpringHill will executive produce the project alongside Embassy Row.

The 53 year old MC also has a new album on the way, his first since 2021. TMZ caught up with the Terror Squad boss in Los Angeles where “Joey Crack” expressed his excitement on the upcoming release.

Prior to having his own Starz series, Joe began his foray in hosting with the 2022 and 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards as well as guest spots on the The Drew Barrymore Show and The Wendy Williams show. He also previously led “The Fat Joe Show,” an Instagram Live talk show were he held conversations with notable faces such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, Floyd Mayweather, Jamie Foxx and more.

Outside of entertainment Fat Joe recently made an appearance alongside west coast Hip-hop legend E-40 at a Joe Biden rally in North Carolina. The veteran politician’s team referred to the two as “legends of the music industry, who understand the importance of utilizing their platforms to ensure their fan base understands the stakes of this election.”

'Power' Spinoff 'Origins': A Prequel on Ghost and Tommy

Ghost and Tommy make their highly anticipated return to late night television with Power: Origins a prequel to the original Power series. STARZ recently announced the series’ fourth spinoff is in the early stages of development. 

The Power universe has been all gas no breaks since the original series ended in 2020. With both ‘Raising Kanan’ and ‘Power Book IV: Force’ filming their new seasons and ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ gearing up for its highly-anticipated series finale, it seems as if things won’t be dying down anytime soon.

Origins will center around the origin stories of James “Ghost” St. Patrick and his partner-in-crime, Tommy Egan. Both of whom were brought to life by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora in the original ‘Power’ series.

Shortly after the official announcement, 50 Cent who portrayed Kanan Stark in the original series, took to Twitter/X to deliver to fans this exciting news.

Kanan Stark is a fan-favorite of the series and his origin story can be seen in ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan.   

The cast of ‘Origins’ has yet to be announced, but fans are enthusiastically requesting that Hardwick and Sikora reprise their roles as narrators. Similar to what 50 Cent does on ‘Raising Kanan’.

The series will be executive produced by original Power creator and showrunner, Courtney A. Kemp, through her production company End of Episode, as well as Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television and Mark Canton through Canton Entertainment.

'Run The World' Cancellation Sparks Fan Outcry and Hope for Renewal

After just two seasons, Starz has decided to pull the plug on Run the World, leaving fans of the show both upset and concerned. The news of the cancellation has sparked a wave of backlash and questioning within the fan community. On social media platforms like Twitter/X, the hashtag #CancelStarz has been trending as fans voice their displeasure.

Numerous tweets have poured in, expressing frustration and disappointment with Starz's decision. One Twitter/X user lamented, "I hate they canceled Run the World, maybe BET can pick it up." Run the World is a series that boasts a full African American cast and revolves around the lives of four women navigating the challenges and adventures of Harlem, New York. The show garnered a dedicated fanbase during its brief run, making its cancellation all the more disheartening for those who enjoyed its representation and storytelling.

The show has already lost one of its stars. According to TVLine, Andrea Bourdeaux, who played Ella in the first season of Run the World, was fired for failing to comply with the production's COVID-19 vaccine mandate, as reported by Deadline. According to Andrea Bourdeaux Instagram she explained briefly in a caption on why she left the show. “I would have loved to continue to grow with this delightful character and having to come to terms with this sharp turn in my life, my dream, and career these past several weeks has been heartbreaking beyond words. Lionsgate made no efforts to find a workable solution.”

The show is now heading for a grand exit, largely due to the Sag-Aftra Writers Guild strike. Unfortunately, networks have not been providing their writers with fair pay, resulting in the cancellation of many shows and episodes. 50 Cent Purchases Massive Facility to Create G-Unit Studios

Hip-hop mogul and businessman Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has made headlines for purchasing a massive 985,000-square-foot facility. He took to his instagram to show the early development of the facility that will be transformed into G-Unit Studios, a multi-purpose complex for music production, television, and film. On Twitter last week, 50 Cent reflected on his success and admitted that he wishes he had created his TV universe at a different network. He also announced that he no longer plans to adapt any more BMF spin-offs or sell any other shows to Starz. According to 50 Cent, he has the top TV shows in African American and Latina households, but he regrets that he worked with the wrong people.

2 Chainz and Neyo Set to Join BMF Cast for Season 3

Both artists have had successful careers in the music industry and have now decided to try their hand at acting in the upcoming season of BMF.
