In collaboration with Amazon Music, Patron El Ato, and BMAC, co-CEO and co-Founder, Jamil Davis, set significant standards for the hottest brunch in town. The 2nd Annual Black Future. Now Brunch was hosted at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday, September 17, to highlight some of the best young black executives in their respective fields. Revels Group is a full-service artist management firm, record label, publishing group, creative production team, and tour management company. Jamil Davis and Matt Geffen made an iconic duo when conjuring up this group! On the journey of establishing themselves, they’ve worked with the hottest celebs for over a decade, such as Drake, G-Easy, Gibson Hazard, and many more up-and-coming artists.
Revels Group has set a high standard when it comes to serving looks at their events. This was easily understood as the guests walked through the door wearing their most fashionable brunch attire. Diverse black creatives, executives, and artists from various backgrounds gathered for one common purpose: to make a lasting fashionable impression. You can believe that the fashion sense in the room was undeniable.
Black was the color of the afternoon and bold pieces ignited the space alongside some bold personalities. As we know it, black people are always the highlight of the show. This event was no different. Let’s get into some of the flyest looks of the afternoon.
Coco and Breezy (@cocoandbreezy) did not disappoint with their crop and mini skirt moment. What do the girls say, “skirts should be the size of a belt. Life short. Take risks.” We should give a round of applause for the layers and accessories!
Keeping the fun going, blazers don’t have to be so professional after all. All of the girlies were dressed in their oversized blazers and name-brand sunnies. One thing you can count on during a brunch is that sunglasses are a must. And not just to block the precious sun we love that in LA, but to give that aesthetic touch that our outfits so desperately need.
Jene Kemp (@jenayee) and Heran Mamo (@heranmamo) showing off their stylish sunglasses and oversized blazer. This is the effortless classic look that is suitable for all of your brunch needs. Also, sports socks with loafers are not a crime! Remember to make fashion fun and unique to you, and set a trend.
To end the event, the Patron El Alto definitely did its job. Everyone was on the dance floor showing their moves to the wobble! It was nice to celebrate blackness and witness the style in a space that we very much created.
