Hunxho Talks Touring With Lil Baby and New Project "4 Days In LA"
By: Omar Cook
Atlanta rapper, Hunxho, is the most buzzed about new artist in the ATL. It seems all of our favorite rappers have been shouting him out, posting about his music and co-signing that he is definitely the next artist to take the world by storm. He is a lyrical star, whose “pain music” is reminiscent of Tupac. He brings a poetic street edge to Atlanta’s sound. He continues to simmer and rise throughout the South and will soon be taking his talents across the country.
Hunxho will be lighting up the stage and accompanying Lil Baby on his IOU tour this summer. Hunxho acknowledges that the opportunity is a major blessing and plans to go all in. He attributes his success thus far to his drive and resilience.
“I gotta do something to make them remember me, in every state I go to. He’s giving me his audience, and I gotta make the best out of it” said Hunxho in an exclusive interview with BoomBox Weekly.
Hunxho who is managed by his uncle Raja’ee Muhammad’s 1Team Entertainment management group, is motivated by his family and faith. He has been through trials and tribulations that could have broken the average person but he took his pain and transformed it into a bible of poetry and rhymes. He is determined to become unforgettable.
Hunxho is making sure his name gets remembered as he has been dropping projects left and right, releasing 3 this year already. This includes his debut album 22. Hunxho most recently released his 8 track project, 4 Days In LA, under his label 300 Entertainment. His hit record “Highly Performing”, has been going crazy on youtube amassing over 2 million views this year. He recently just released a new video to his must listen to track “48 Laws of Power”.

Aside from his own success, Hunxho is focused on bringing up his homies with him by putting them on his tracks, so they can enjoy the journey together. He is also family oriented and credits his family, management and label for keeping things together for him.
His manager and uncle, Raja’ee Muhammad shared that faith, family, knowledge and wisdom is what collectively drives Hunchxo and his team. Hunhxo’s rise has been fast paced and electrifying and to the naked eye, fame and all its elements can be frightening. When asked about the craziness and darkness that comes with the industry, Muhammad says all those vices can be overcome.
“Hunhxo is a fighter and survivor. Navigating through things with a flicker of light will always distinguish darkness. We are honest and want everyone to win and we’re focused on that as a family. We’re not really focused on all of the other things that come with the industry. We want to empower our people,” said Muhammad.
“What I’ve been through can be someone else’s lesson so that they don’t have to go through the same obstacles and pain,” added Hunchxo. The rapper shared a message for upcoming artists on the grind with us.
"You don’t have to listen to nobody tells you how to do nothin, you can do it your own way and still get to where you gotta be. Stay consistent, practice makes perfect. The more you stay in the studio. The more you shoot videos. Anything that got to do with music, the more you gone go up. Long as its more views than last time, you’re doing something right. Even if it’s not, keep going.” - Hunxho stated on BoomBox Weekly
