Bad Boys 4, the latest installment in the popular action-comedy franchise, is set to reunite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Fans of the series have been eagerly anticipating the return of the dynamic duo, who first appeared on the big screen together in 1995.
The Bad Boys franchise has been a staple of the action-comedy genre, with its over the top stunts and humor earning it a massive following. The first film, released in 1995, was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $140 million worldwide. The sequel, Bad Boys II, was released in 2003 and was equally as popular, grossing over $270 million worldwide. The trilogy, Bad Boys for Life, which rejoined Smith and Lawrence in 2020, earned $426.5 million at the worldwide box office.
Smith, one of the biggest celebrities in the world, is ecstatic to be back in the Bad Boys universe. He took to his IG to show the world his excitement while driving and surprising us at the door of Martin Lawrence’s house to break the news for the fourth installment.
